Blankets, Blankets, Blankets .... Everywhere!!!
Hundreds of kids in the St. Louis area have helped make blankets for
Project Linus through their Scouts, School, and Church groups. Kids can
draw pictures on muslin squares for quilts, tie fleece fringe, crochet,
knit, and even quilt. Just use your imagination!
See some of the beautiful blankets our local blanketeers have created.
Nationwide, Janome dealers have teamed up
with Project Linus Chapters to sponsor Make a Blanket Days. Our local
participant is Winston's Fabrics at 8515 Delmar. In 2004, 264 blankets were
donated. This year they are already being accepted at all three locations.
The drawings will be held some time in March.
